Even though I've lived down here for 16 years, my seasonal depression is still tied to my previous life in NY. I get all bummed out thinking about being inside until April, and then get a huge lift when the Daffadills are in bloom at the end of January and the Bradford Pear Trees start to turn white in the first couple of weeks of Feb.
I know you and Hue suffer through far greater winters, but that provides me no solice.
Maybe I just need to fly up and confront it head on...
The plus side of this cold is that airplanes love cold (i.e., dense) air. I went for a little night flight around Manhattan last night and the plane practically leapt off the runway. Next time you come up, you can come for a ride to chase those winter blues. We can go up the Hudson and check out the Point.

I love New York winters, a great time for outdoor activity, not sure about Minnesota though.....
We'll get some 70-degree days to break up the black-and-white photo that is Atlanta in the winter.
Get your ass up here - New Hampshire is coming up and we need you to sing for Obama. If that doesn't make you feel better, we'll cue the Daffodils.
