Check it out, Tom Watson invited me to post on a thing he's worked up outside of his most excellent blog My Dirty Life & Times. For those of the more conservative bent beware he's sometimes pie in the sky lost in space liberal and possesses a sharp tongue, but the kid can write. Here's my inaugural offering at Newcritics. Great to hear and see you had a great holiday!
Sorry for the pause in communication. I've actually managed to stay busy earning money during a December and January for maybe the second time in my life!
The west-coast Devine's had a tremendous Christmas break. Uncle Don (Donny to you guys) came over on Christmas to meet Griffin his new nephew ( my new boy! ) Griff is 6 months now and Spencer is 4.
I will freely admit that I thought a Griffin was a gargoyle or something until my dad, being my dad, emailed me the wikopedia page on Griffins. Thank god it was something cool! I love the idiot savant moments in my life.
Griffin is awesome!
I can't tell you how happy it made me that you and Ted are making music together and seeing the holiday pic of Ted's visit. It certainly made me wish I lived closer.
Anyway, blog is coming soon. I would love to collaborate long-distance loaning some guitar to anything in need?!
I already collaborate in L.A. over the internet cause everyone's sooo busy.
