If I had a football team they would be required to wear these...

The offense would wear these...

The defense would sport these...

If you want a pair go here.

I love the Trooper single graphics on the defensive line. Eddie charges with the Light Brigade again!

I've got that picture disk single and love the drunken version of 'Cross Eyed Mary' on the B side. That was a popular piece of vinyl during the 2 year period of debachery between HS graduation and going to college for me and my friends.

That was one of the cool things about maiden back in the day, the 12 inches. The B-sides were always worth the price of purchase. 'Total Eclipse', the flip side of the 'Number of the Beast' 12 inch is a much better song than most of the 'Beast' lp, it suffers from a poor mix, the vox aren't loud enough, maybe they should have mixed it Doubly.

There was another single from 'Piece of Mind', I forget which, but the b-side of the 12 inch was a band argument in which Niko was accused of playing a poxy drum solo.

Great stuff.

I do need a pair of these...

Anon: I too am bummed that their US tour is so short and limited. As you can see, they're not coming anywhere near me either. I'm trying to work a plan with a couple of fellow blogger friends to hit the Madison Square Garden show.
