Absolutely horrible news...
Richard Wright, Pink Floyd's most esteemed gentleman and pianist has died after a battle with cancer. I hope he and Ian Stewart are together lifting a pint or two and having a laugh at the drama that surrounds their more celebrated fellow band mates.
Very sad news. I am a HUGE Pink Floyd fan, especially when I was younger. It's weird to see David Gilmour, or the Rolling Stones for that matter, in their 60's now. LL Cool J is in his 40's. Timeless music makes the musicians seem ageless, but obviously they are not.
I commend Rick, and Paul Newman, for quietly dealing with their illnesses while carrying on with their carreers. Rick recently toured with Gilmour, watching the Tour Documentary you'd never know he was sick.

Not really a Pink Floyd fan, but that's a shame.
Don't forget Syd. Oh, wait. It's probably not a pint he's hoisting.
Still very sad.
