Throw in a couple of pop-culture or sports jokes that don't get laughed at and this experience is NAILED! Even better, an audience of blank-staring engineers whose first language is not English. I usually feel like Seinfeld in that AMEX commercial where his routine bombs in England because he doesn't know the culture/lingo.
This kind of made my day. Now imagine dating an engineer...oooh lordy!
